Super is a Kannada film directed by Real Star Upendra after a pretty long time. The film stars Upendra in the lead and Nayantara, and is been Produced by Rockline Venkatesh under Rockline Productions. This was one of the most awaited movie of this year 2011, for only one good reason that Upendra wore his Director’s hat after a long time (his last movie was Upendra). And more over , Super is Rockline’s 25th venture under Rockline Productions.

The movie, Super gave the Tamil actress Nayantara a break in Kannada films as she made her debut along side Uppi. Songs of the movie, Super soundtrack album was released on 19 November at Leela Palace, Bengaluru. Akash audio bought the audio rights paying a huge amount (but it was worth their every penny!).

Super went on to become a blockbuster hit in the boxoffice. With Upendra’s acting and Nayantara’s looks, the movie saw a great response among the audience of all masses. Giving a political touch to the movie, Upendra has held the grip on the script and has successfully able to narrate the story till the end getting you to the edge of your seats. Super has some punching dialogues (as expected!) by real star and songs can make you go gaga.
